(Photo by Nujaree Raekrun)NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: A sub-district medical practitioner was gunned down before dawn on Tuesday while working with his wife at a roadside pork stall in Chawang district. Police said were called to the scene of the shooting on Jandee-Phibun road in tambon La-ai about 5am, said Pol Capt Wutthipong Wattanapreechapong, deputy investigation chief at Chawang police station. He was rushed to Somdej Phra Yupparat Chawang Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The woman said her husband worked as a medical practitioner, or phaed tambon, for tambon Saira in Chawang district.
